Notes on Air America

I haven't managed yet to hear a complete episode of the new Marc Maron Show, partly because the hour it's broadcast is not a friendly one for east coast 9-to-5ers, and partly because lingering resentment over the pointless death of Morning Sedition has prevented me from becoming a paying member of Air America. If I bought into the network I could podcast the show. But as much as I enjoy Rachel Maddow's show (and I do enjoy it), it doesn't start my day with the same zing I got from Morning Sedition - which often made me laugh out loud even before I was fully conscious.

Anyway, I wanted to point out to fans who remain unaware that the wonderful website The Snotgreen Sea hosts audio archives of most of the comedy bits from Morning Sedition and The Marc Maron Show. Enjoy. My favorites, in case you're a rookie, are Sammy the Stem Cell, Future Marc, and Pendejo the Revolutionary. And by the way, if anyone knows of an archive of Marc's Dream Diaries, please let me know where I can find it. I am pining for the anarchic adventures of Marc's dead (and inexplicably French) cat Butch.

I woke up and my bed was filled with
