Intra-party

I'm certainly no Democratic insider, but it seems to me that while there are smart, capable people involved with the DLC who happened to be early innovators of many of the ideas later championed by Bill Clinton, they ought to realize that the current energy and motivation driving the party is contained largely within the grassroots/netroots and that insulting Michael Moore and Moveon, while it might make you feel better, really doesn't sit well with those expected to pony-up come election time.

In short, the train of the new Democratic Party - which is really so much more than Moveon or Michael Moore - is leaving the station and if the DLC wants to remain an innovative party think-tank, they'd better get on board.
