Among all news media combined, campaign coverage that focused on Mr. Bush was three times as negative as that focusing on Mr. Kerry, the report said.

Nevermind that Bush was actually President at the time and so took some heat for Abu-Graib, the Mess-o-potamia, missing weapons, no flu vaccines and on and on. In any case, it really doesn't matter since Bush Country couldn't care less what's in the Times and the Post.
