ABC/WaPo pegs Bush's job approval at 50%, only 3 points higher than Bush's lowest rating of 47% last summer. The poll was conducted Wednesday through Monday, meaning only two days of polling were conducted after the Iraqi elections. I suspect we will see this number bump up a bit due to the cheerleading over Iraq and tonight's SOTU, but this is still a pretty dismal number and certainly won't be inspiring any confidence among Hill Republicans nervous about Bush's drive to privatize social security.

Say what you will about the Iraqi "elections" wingers, justification after the fact doesn't make up for all those missing WMDs even though you may think it does.
