Economist Poll: Kerry 46, Bush 45, Nader 1

This poll has shown a remarkably uneventful race since it began surveying voters last July. It gave both Kerry and Bush a bounce of about 3 points after their convention - perhaps proving the argument that neither candidate had much to gain from their party conventions in such a tight race. They had Bush up over Kerry by a point last week and the week before, but now Bush has lost two points and Kerry has gained one. While some may think this poll is somehow "Kerry friendly" I would point out that it's sample size of 2,107 voters nationwide is by far the largest of any national poll and it includes registered voters and likely voters. Kerry leads among voteres in both categories.

Also, check out the numbers on Iraq...
