Gallup: Kerry 49, Bush 48

Bush's approval is at 49, down from 52 last month. This is the first time Kerry has lead in almost two months

See...we told you so...the Bush ads have not worked. Kerry is back.

Whether this holds or not, what it proves is that Kerry has been able to withstand the Bush attack ads and is unleashing his own positive ads at perhaps the lowest point of the Bush presidency. This poll confirms a trend that was noted in previous polling. Today's Rasmussen poll will no doubt give us a clue as to how widespread Kerry's comeback is if his lead over Bush holds to 3 points or more.
