Ok folks...a lot of pundits have been piling on our guy Kerry of late, but we here at ToughEnough.org aren't really sure why. Here are the facts, state by state:
17 battlground states (most recent polls except NH, linked below):
Arkansas: Kerry 45%, Bush 45%
Arizona: Bush 41%, Kerry 38%
Florida: Bush 46%, Kerry 45%
Iowa: Kerry 47%, Bush 46%
Maine: Kerry 51%, Bush 38%
Michigan: Kerry 47%, Bush 43%
Minnesota: Kerry 50%, Bush 38%
Missouri: Bush 49%, Kerry 42%
Nevada: Bush 49%, Kerry 38%
New Hampshire: Kerry 49%, Bush 45% (link)
New Mexico: Bush 46%, Kerry 45%

West Virginia: Bush 46%, Kerry 41%
Kerry is tied or ahead in the following 'red' states: Ohio, Florida, New Hampshire, Arkansas and Arizona.
Bush is tied or ahead in the following 'blue' states: Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Iowa.
Forget Bush's narrow lead in recent national polls and focus on this - Kerry has the electoral advantage NOT Bush according to all the most recent battleground polls.
