Kerry lays down the gauntlet

After laying out his vision for a more peaceful Iraq, Kerry has demanded that Bush answer questions about how he will stabilize Iraq in the face of growing violence. In a master stroke, typical of the feisty John Kerry, he pre-empts the expected Bush 'tough talk' about how we must stay the course.
"I believe it is important for the president to not just share with all Americans what we all believe. We know we must succeed, we know we are committed to having a stable Iraq," he said. "The president owes Americans a specific explanation of exactly how we are going to achieve that."
Perfect. Now we wait for George W. to mangle his syntax and squint into the TV camera while struggling to explain something he can't possibly understand. See you in the East Room!
