Inevitable

You know, people keep referring to the fact that Clinton is considered by most to be the inevitable nominee and that this feeling peeked around the time when she appeared, two Sundays ago, on all the morning shows. But all I've seen in the last couple weeks are articles referring to this supposed "consensus" view while failing to identify any specific stories that made this case. It's like Hillary was considered inevitable at the very same moment people decided to argue against her inevitability.

I point this out only because such patterns seems to arise over and over again in presidential campaigns. It's as if the media is having this giant meta-argument with itself yet one yearns for them to stop playing games and stick to reporting the facts. As inevitable as Hillary was or is, Obama has had a very good week. By any measure it is still anyone's game.
