Don't know all the facts behind this story, but it makes me a tad suspicious.

Particularly this part:
    Wan J. Kim, the assistant attorney general in charge of the Justice Department's civil rights division, praised the decision.
Could Wan J. Kim be one of those loyal soldiers of the Bush DOJ we've been hearing so much about? Doing what he needs to do to keep his job? Just asking.
