Tenet

It might be nice to finally have "a few slices of truth" coming from a senior official involved in the run up to the war in Iraq. But assuming what Tenet says is true, and there's no reason not to assume it is, the right thing for him to do would have been to resign rather than let Bush enter a war about which he now claims "There was never a serious debate that I know of within the administration about the imminence of the Iraqi threat..."

Ironically, as angry as Tenet is about "slam dunk" by not resigning he bears some responsibility for this war all the same.
