It was embarrassing to watch him practically begging not to be fired. And may I add a kudo (honestly!) to Tom Coburn, with whom I never agree on any subject, for his straightforward advice to Gonzalez to resign.
Here's who Gonzalez reminds me of: Peter Loore in "M". Creepy, soft-spoken, sniveling. Straight out of the childhood nightmare closet.
