Only tangentially political, and just plain fun. More tomorrow, both in Davis Square, Somerville, and at the Harvard Square Oktoberfest. Creativity busting out, all messy and jubilant.It did occur to me today that I was witnessing what might be the only upside to the Bush II Years - an embrace of the defiantly odd. Since bands came from all over, this is clearly not a local phenomenon, but it is a cheering one.
