Right wing blogovia is in a feeding frenzy.

Due to a severe shortage of good news for their agenda and their messengers, the right wing is seizing on any bit of spinnable news to try to take attention off their own failings. The big JonBenet news made a big noisy bellyflop yesterday, and how much mileage can they get from the Biden blunder and the Conan O'Brien badly timed plane crash joke?

So today it's John Kerry's turn - again - as the right wing fake explodes over an email sent out to Kerry's supporters today asking for help in defeating Kenneth Blackwell in his race for governor of Ohio.

News flash, guys: There are still lawsuits pending in Ohio. Kerry never stopped talking about Ohio's 2004 voting debacle.

Here's another news flash: a lot of the voters in this country agree with him. Something rotten - or rather - many things rotten - happened in Ohio in 2004 that may well have cost him the election. Getting crazed about it and calling Kerry a sore loser won't change a single mind: what happened is fact, not opinion.

Anyone interested in the truth can find it here. And here. And here. And here.

John Kerry didn't make this stuff up.

But the right wing noisemakers aren't looking for facts. They can gin up fake outrage over literally anything, facts be damned. One problem with people and noise, though; after a while any noise becomes white noise, no matter how loud, no matter how wrong, and people tune it out. They just stop listening.

Do you hear anything?? I don't.
