Today Samual Alito will likely win his first vote on the way to nomination to the Supreme Court. Little can be done at this point to stop him. He's likely to be the most anti-Roe justice in a generation. Unlike 66% of the American people he has said he would like to see Roe overturned.
Why, on this essential issue have the Democrats been nearly silent? Why, even though only one Democrat has said he would vote for Alito (Ben Nelson of Nebraska) have Democrats refused to filibuster?
How many more times will the minority party be deaf and mute to the views of a clear majority of Americans?
