Good Grief!

So Ed Henry is mouthing off on CNN that "anonymous" Democrats are telling him they hope the whole Kerry filibuster thing blows over by the end of the day Tuesday so that the President's SoTU speech will dominate the news and there will be little coverage of how the Democrats' lost their bid to block Alito from the Supreme Court.

Who the hell are these pansies??!! Yes, it's quite unlikely Kerry's effort will succeed, but that doesn't mean you don't try. It's the symbolism of it that matters. Yes, Democrats don't hold power in Washington, but it's far past time they stood up and made their voices heard. When a Republican majority shuts you out from the process, sometimes filibustering is the only way you can make your point.

And what Democrat really is looking forward to the Bush SoTU where we're bound to hear more lies and more bad ideas?
