Crooks and Liars has the Countdown video of Bush campaigning for Kilgore in Virginia last Monday night. Take a look, and tell me what you think of the man who is, at least nominally, in charge of our country.
There was an article in yesterday's Boston Globe about local high school students who are less and less willing to talk to military recruiters. Might I suggest that this drunken, bullying frat boy president who shirked his own military service might be in some way connected to the plummeting recruitment numbers? His support of torture, his outrageous use of the military as props for his propaganda, his politicization of Veteran's Day, his refusal to attend military funerals, his refusal to allow returning caskets to be seen by the public - all these things illustrate his complete disdain for those who serve. Does anyone think high school students are incapable of making these connections for themselves?
