Turning the screws

Just to recap, yesterday, Fitzgerald's spokesman tells the Associated Press to expect announcements in Washington D.C., not Chicago (Fitzgerald's home). Today, "sources close to the investigation" tell Raw Story that an advisor to VP Cheney, John Hannah, has been 'flipped' by Fitzgerald, naming the official hinted at in an earlier New York Daily News piece. Finally, late tonight, "associates" of Fitzgerald's tell the New York Times that the special prosecutor has no plans to issue a final report and "government officials" say Fitzgerald isn't expected to take any action in the case this week.

What do you suppose is going on here? Is Fitzgerald raising the temperature perhaps?
