Luskin the Liar

So Luskin's past isn't so squeaky clean afterall: Gold bars, bitches!

Many other online magazine writers are pointing out that it really doesn't matter whether or not Rove said "Plame" or said "Wilson's wife" as he reportedly did to Matt Cooper. In a legal sense this defense may keep Rove out of jail, but in a moral sense, shouldn't Bush fire the person who it appears was largely responsible for circulating and leaking the fact that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA, thereby ending her career as a covert agent in WMD, the very things we were supposed to be so on the alert for post 9-11.

And yes, of course, the media seems suddenly obsessed with the strictest reading of the law. I guess gone forever are the days when you knew, you just knew, a seamen stained blue dress meant the impeachment of a president.
