Patently unfair

This is pretty childish criticism, for reasons I don't have to explain here. But one thing should be clear, Aravosis is not alone, Democrats unlike Republicans, don't want anything to do with their losers. But we act this way at our peril. Two of the last three Republican presidents ran and lost before becoming President. Yes, none were the nominee and lost before ultimately winning the presidency, and perhaps that matters, but we should be careful about dismissing a guy who won the support of a hell of a lot of Americans. He's earned some respect and if he wants to highlight the Downing Street memo then we should support him and cheer him on, not dismiss him.

Of course, these are subtleties that little people like Mr. Aravosis can hardly be expected to understand. They are better suited to unearthing pictures of nude men and creating tea pot controversies. More power to them. But, for Aravosis to tell a sitting Senator to "go away," on one of the biggest issues facing the country, and an issue that was at the center of the last campaign, belies an arrogance that makes me much less interested in his opinions.
