Atrios pushes back, in a rather wordy and round-about way, against the recent criticism of Kerry flying around the liberal internets, that suggests Kerry should have released these recent Navy and Yale records during the campaign to help counter the Swift Boat Liars. Frankly, I can't even remember what is was the Swiftys hoped to expose with Kerry's Navy records, and of course they could have helped Kerry in that many of the Swiftys wrote glowing reports of Lt. Kerry at the time. But, none of this would have stopped the Summer of Swifty considering there were even stronger facts to back up the more far out Swifty critiques, like, uh, the fact that Kerry's medals were awarded by the U.S. frickin' Navy.
