Busted Bush

It's still stunning how solid the Republican base is. Bush could kill a baby on live TV and he'd still have a 48% approval rating. Bush has also hovered enough above the fray that Terri Schiavo and the 'nuclear option' debate probably did not hurt him as much as Congress. However, this pretty much qualifies as the low point of his presidency, and considering he just was re-elected, that's pretty pathetic.
