About those liberal reporters.

I know this is a relatively old story, but this thought just came to me this morning while listening to Marty Kaplan on AAR.

You know that poll that came out last week about how reporters voted for Kerry over Bush by 68% to 25% in last year's election? And you know the predictable reaction in the right wing over the results? How they prove that the press skews left?
Press Voted for Kerry 2-to-1 over Bush

A new survey confirms what many conservatives have long believed: Members of the press have an overwhelming bias for the Democratic Party.
I'd like to suggest another theory. Crazy though it may sound, perhaps journalists overwhelmingly voted for Kerry because they have access to the actual news before it is skewed rightward in the corporate media and spewed out for general comsumption. The question that begs asking is: Hey, guys, how about spreading the truth around a little bit? How about putting the rest of us on your in-the-know list?
