The news is moving faster than a person can keep up with it. Courtesy of the good offices of Larry Flynt, who seems to have quite the eye for hypocrisy, Raw Story's got the dirt on the seamy story behind the dissolution of John Bolton's first marriage.
Wolcott's on it as well, penning a nostalgic paean to the lost days when Plato's Retreat was ground zero for, apparently, a whole lotta Washington types.
As for Bolton, who knows? Late day news has Biden thinking the vote may not happen tomorrow, Voinovich po'd over excessive pressure from the White House, and Bolton himself having apparently been AWOL on negotiations over nukes, which is actually his job.
Any dramatists out there? This has the makings of a really fine French farce. I need to go fan myself. I think I have a case of the vapours.
