Racists

It just goes to show how racist and sexist Bush administration apologists are that they continually refer to the fact that the two nominees for the federal bench, recently voted out of the judiciary committee on a party line vote, are both women and one is black. Somehow that is supposed to make it difficult for the Democrats to filibuster them.

Perhaps it would if the party labels were reversed and the year was 1957. One would like to think we've moved beyond this sort of bigotry.
