Fineman hearts Reid

I'd also like to point out that while Tough Enough disagreed with Reid's decision to let the Republicans pass the Schiavo bill uncontested in the Senate it was clearly a very astute political move and has lead, in some senses, to a real turnabout in impressions of the GOP. One thing Fineman doesn't mention is that Reid was in Iraq while the bill was being debated and clearly has enough control over his troops that he can command and win a battle from afar.

All in all, very impressive.
