My Jet Blue flight back from the Westside took hours longer than it was supposed to and so I caught quite a bit of the Vatican cam. I must say, I was impressed by the cable nets' ability to turn the death of Pope John Paul II into a tribute to Ronald Reagan. Apparently blowing millions on defense and being a spiritual inspiration to nearly a billion people is the same thing. Oh yes, and while we're at it, the Pope timed his death to follow Terri Schiavo's.
