Wingnut intimidation

Yesterday, I posted a link to an article from this week's New Yorker magazine on supposed media bias. In the article, the New York Times editor, Bill Keller, says straight out that the Right-Wing is far more vicious and determined in their attacks on his paper, not to mention other MsM outlets, than are liberals.

Now today, the news nets are going bonkers with reports on the "power of blogs" after the head of the CNN news division, Eason Jordan, resigned. It distresses me that the two most notorious acts of blog muscle flexing have been the beheading of CBS News and now CNN. The resignations of both Rather and Jordan are seen, by rabid wingers, as validation of their belief that all media that's not Fox or talk radio is biased in liberals' favor and are further proof of how afraid of the Right our media have become.
