Why does Tim Roemer call himself a Democrat and why on earth would we want him leading our party? While we're at it, why do Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid support his bid for party chairman?
Just some questions on a rainy hump-day.
Here are some key Roemer votes/positions from his time in the House:
1) Voted against the Clinton budget of '93
2) Voted for the Filner Amendment to privatize Social Security
3) Voted for the 2001 Bush tax cuts and then voted a year later to make them permanent the following year.
4) Is anti-choice.
