Election Day

So, the Shiite turnout was around 60% and the Sunnis pretty much boycotted the vote. As far as violence, it was just another bad day, with perhaps somewhat more violence in Shiite areas around Baghdad. Cable news coverage has pretty predictably descended to the level of U.S. government propoganda, heralding the very fact of voting as a tremendous success.

As for Kerry on MTP, he sounds just like candidate Kerry, which I had begun to miss.

[UPDATE] I've only watched the beginning portion of the interview. I understand there were quite a few questions from Tiny Tim concerning the Swifty Smear which shouldn't surprise anyone - it's been decided that was the issue that sunk Kerry's campaign. Also, Jerome Corsi is rumored to be considering moving to MA to challenge Kerry for his Senate seat in 2008.
