Nervous Republicans

Shall we start taking bets on how long it is before Republicans up for re-election in '06 start getting nervous? I doubt you'll be seeing Bush inject himself into the upcoming midterms as much as we saw in 2002 - what with a 50% job approval and all. I can't wait for the first batch of stories detailing the extent to which Bush has become toxic for his own party. Funny thing is, with the election over, I doubt even another 9/11 would help him now, as dependent on Americans dying as he has become for political support.
