Kerry interview

On his first day back at the Senate, John Kerry gave interviews to local Boston news Channel 5 and New England Cable News (John Kerry Speaks Out).

For those of you who are as hungry for the sound of Kerry's adult voice as I was, there's free video. I didn't realize untill I watched it how much I miss hearing him every day. The Kerry critics who kept calling him wooden and unlikeable really missed the boat. There are a whole lot of people out there who feel the same way I do. When you hear him speak you hear the voice of maturity, wisdom, calm, and rationality. All of which is completely absent from the voices of the Bush administration.

Key Kerry quote [emphasis mine]:
"You know they haven't finished counting the votes in Ohio yet, and so it is way to early to start talking about another race. But I will tell you this -- I'm far from finished fighting. I'm passionate about these issues. As I say, 50,000 votes and we'd be in a different place with a different conversation."
