That's it for me. I've often really enjoyed the lively discussions over at Daily Kos, but this thread, Kerry's troublesome nest egg, puts me over the edge. It reminds me why I left the site for months last fall and winter when the deification of Dean and the villification of Kerry were at their zenith.
The circular firing squad. Eating our own. The progressives' echo chamber. No matter what horrors the Shrub perpetrates on the American people and the world, you will never hear a republican talking about him in such a vicious way.
If the folks at Daily Kos and Democratic Underground - which can be just as bad - aspire to be taken seriously, they ought to act like adults and stop throwing temper tantrums. Ask questions, absolutely. The public floggings are nauseating.
