The debates are good for John Kerry

    Sixty-one percent (61%) of Kerry voters now say that Presidential Debates are very important. Only 24% of Bush voters share that view.

    At the other extreme, 30% of Bush voters say the debates are not very important or not at all important. Only 8% of Kerry voters share that view.
Forget their jacked national tracking poll, Rasmussen's numbers on this question seem to point to something. These debates have been an ENORMOUS boost for Kerry. It has helped him in every conceivable way - on both issues and character/likability. This is a far cry from 2000 when Gore blew the debates, totally.
