Just a quick post tonight--
Gallup is showing Kerry a lead of 49-45 among Independents. This is really, really good news. Could make the difference in a place like New Hampshire.
Less heartening is the Kerry camp essentially giving up on a number of states, judging by their media buy. Goodbye Virginia, Lousiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, Arizona. Kerry is putting his eggs in about 10-15 baskets, so let's keep our fingers crossed. Bush leads in a lot of those states so he may have cash and time to pressure Kerry in blue states.
