Gallup - no credibility left

Gallup's new poll shows Bush up 13, directly contradicating every single other national poll released within the last two days showing the race tied or Bush's bounce seriously eroded.

Who do you believe, Gallup OR Pew, Harris, IBD/TIPP Democracy Corps and Newsweek?

Also, 10 days before the 2000 election guess who showed George Bush 13 points ahead of Al Gore? If you guessed Gallup you were right. Gore ended up winning by .5%.

Still not convinced...well, here is the ultra-liberally biased John Fund, writing about the Gallup Poll in 2000 and he starts with this quote from a CNN producer (CNN is one of the sponsors of the Gallup poll).
"The Gallup Poll just has no credibility with me anymore," the network producer sighs. "Even if the survey methods are valid, how can you tell viewers that a swing of 15 points in four days is realistic?"
UPDATE: So Gallup admits their polls are crap:
Presidential candidates have won after trailing by similar margins. One was George W. Bush himself. In 2000, he was behind Al Gore by 10 points among registered voters in early October and then prevailed in the Electoral College, though he lost the popular vote.

In 1980, Ronald Reagan was down 8 points in the Gallup Poll in late October but won in a landslide after doing well in the only debate held with President Carter.
So even their polls taken just before election day are meaningless. All polls fluctuate, but Gallup's fluctuate way too much to be taken seriously. Their state numbers are no better, and frequently polls from the same state taken only weeks apart will show huge swings while all other public polling data will show the race unchanged.
