The Daily Show

If you haven't been watching the Daily Show this week, you've been missing a lot. Highlights from last night's show included a clip of Bush bass fishing on a local cable show. Go here: http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/thedailyshowwithjonstewart/ to view the segment. Footage sure to endear Bush to animal-rights activists showed First Dog Barney torturing his own personal fish as it flopped around on the dock. The host of the fishing show commented that it was comforting to know that our commander-in-chief knew how to build and stock a fish pond. Jon Stewart: "The most easily comforted man on earth."

Admittedly a small moment, but this on top of week in which Jon skewered Rep. Henry Bonilla on the Republicans' use of distorted facts for spin, eviscerated The Swift Boat Liars, pinned Robert Novak's sorry carcass to the wall, and interviewed Bill Clinton.

The Daily Show is usually great. When Jon Stewart is angry it is brilliant.
