The RNC starts tonight and toughenough.org will offer you, our loyal readers, some rapid response/live blogging, "Mission Not Accomplished" type stuff.
Team ToughEnough's initial feeling about this convention is two-fold:
1)Where is the agenda, other then "we will make you safer?" Do American voters believe Kerry will make them less safe? I doubt that. And if that's all the GOP can offer this week their poll numbers will drop. They've promised a yet unknown domestic agenda for Bush's next four years - what is it?
2)Will the GOP's over-the-top attempts to put 9/11 and sympathy with New Yorkers center stage at their convention get obscured by the image of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers shouting them down? And will the protests, off to a very good start yesterday and garnering some good press, continue to insert themselves in the evening prime time coverage?
