That's the current spread. What with Kerry breaking fundraising records nearly every month and Bush still spending loads more on TV ads, we can expect to reach financial parity with Bush in terms of cash on hand by June.
Not a lot has been made of this in the media, but the money Bush has spent - nearly $50 million on ads in March alone - is astounding. What has it gotten them? All I can see is a little bump in the national polls, which couldn't be more meaningless this far out. Battleground state polls don't seem to show much of a net change since Kerry wrapped up the nomination.
