Gallup: Bush gets 2 point bounce, B 52, K 45 (LV)

This seems more like it. Also of note, Bush's job approval is 52, only 3 points higher then it was before the convention. If that number settles back down to 47-49, where's it's been most of this year as we move away from the convention, Bush is in trouble. Add to that the fact that Kerry's fav/unfav is unchanged in the Gallup poll from before Bush's convention. This stands in marked contrast to the Time and Newsweek polls, which showed a shift in Kerry's fav/unfav towards a more negative view.

One last thing, among registered voters, Bush leads by only a point.
