Is someone upset about all those yellow shirts?

In a blog entry titled: "Morning Reads: The Heart and Soul of America Speaks Out" the Bush website offers up Jack Dunphy - conservative columnist for National Review Online - as another person who's recently realized that George Bush "shares their values."
From the family farms to the shoproom floors, President Bush has been crisscrossing the country on his Heart and Soul of America Tour. And everyday, more people clearly see which candidate stands by their side and shares their values -- President Bush.

Jack Dunphy, a police officer, says that most first responders will be supporting President Bush this year: Granted, some firefighters, even some who actually fight fires, will no doubt vote for Kerry. So will some cops. But most will vote for President Bush, and as NRO has no firefighter on the payroll I will attempt to speak for both groups in explaining why this is so. ... Unlike John Kerry, they don't find "nuance" in every question that confronts them.
Jack Dunphy is a pseudonym for a Los Angeles Police Department officer who has written regularly for National Review Online since 2000. He consistently has defended police officers involved in the Diallo case, regularly criticizes the New York Times for alleged liberal bias, and has defended President Bush's decision to de-fund the COPS program.

And for those wondering what he meant by:
Granted, some firefighters, even some who actually fight fires, will no doubt vote for Kerry.
In the full article, linked on the Bush blog, Dunphy explains:
Generally speaking, the likelihood that a firefighter will vote for John Kerry is inversely proportional to the number of fires he has actually fought. Witness all those T-shirted "Fire Fighters for Kerry" you saw at the convention. A little soft around the middle some of them were, weren't they? Do you think some of them could haul a hose pack up 50 flights of stairs? I'm not betting on it. I'm guessing the only fires many of them have seen lately were at IAFF barbecues.
Some values - accusing firefighters who support Kerry of being phonies...
